In the Beginning

There was an idea and then the roller coaster started.

Getting our Wild West Berry Farm registered for taxes with our great State of New Mexico, was the easy part; no surprises there, or!?! Getting our farm registered with Dona Ana county, required a 10 year business plan, a lot of explanation, and $35 and was kind of fun; yippee! Getting our farm kitchen approved for food production by the New Mexico Environment Department was an entirely different story; and to make a long, stressful, and rather upsetting story short – we jumped all of the required hoops, paid all required septic tank improvements and installed 2 brand new septic tanks.
